Experience our globally renowned culinary excellence, celebrated for both its quality and variety. Our culinary offerings are crafted with meticulous care by an experienced chef, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene. We exclusively use organic ingredients. During our comprehensive 100 hour yoga teacher training in India, we place a strong emphasis on nourishing your body and mind with wholesome vegetarian meals.

In the words of an ancient Ayurvedic proverb, "If the diet isn't proper, then medicine has no value. If the diet is correct, medicine is not needed." At the Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Centre, we firmly believe that yoga goes beyond physical exercise; it's a way of life. Integrating a balanced diet into your yoga practice can enhance the benefits you receive from it.

The importance of proper nutrition cannot be overstated in maintaining both physical and mental well-being. In the yogic tradition, food is categorized differently from conventional science. Instead of dividing it into carbohydrates, proteins, or fast food, we classify it into Satva, Rajas, and Tamas. Tamasic foods induce lethargy, while Rajasic foods can make you active but may cause tension. In contrast, sattvic foods invigorate your body, elevate your spirits, and create a sense of lightness.

Our dedicated staff at Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Centre is committed to our students' well-being. Consequently, we require all students to follow a sattvic lifestyle during their stay at the Ashram. Embracing a sattvic diet not only cleanses the body but also calms the mind.

Our experienced chef at Mimamsa Yogshaala, Chef Karamyogi, brings years of culinary expertise from five-star hotels around the world to curate our menu. His profound knowledge of the sattvic diet ensures that every meal retains its nutritional value, a fundamental aspect of leading a healthy and joyful life.

Balancing your food intake is crucial; excessive consumption of even healthy foods can lead to lethargy, while insufficient intake fails to provide adequate energy for daily activities. Listening to your body's signals is key to maintaining the right balance.

Furthermore, the energy of the person cooking and consuming the food significantly influences its quality. Food prepared and consumed with anger will inherently possess lower energy than those created with happiness, joy, and gratitude. Incorporating soothing tunes or chanting while cooking or eating can help preserve the Prana, the life energy force, within the food.

As ancient Indian texts suggest, "We are the food we consume." Therefore, it is imperative to choose our food mindfully. Join us on this journey of holistic well-being through the art of yoga and the wisdom of sattvic food at Mimamsa Yogshala's 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh.
